I have a new production walkthrough video where I take an in-depth look at the making of my recent Anjunadeep single, Traumstaat. This piece of emotive broken-beat electronica began life in a dream and is an examination of the split second between waking and sleeping when the dream turns to cloud-like particles and all that remains is the essence of the feeling.

We'll open up Ableton and take a look under the hood look at string programming, pads and synths and how rhythms and effects returns can be used to build the intensity of a track without the need to throw the kitchen sink at it!

As a bonus, I created this short video that looks at the genesis of Traumstaat from version one through to the finished version created for Anjunadeep.
