Elite Force - 2 Is Two Too Many
In this series of videos I'll be walking you through the production process, raising the curtain on the creative and technical steps I took in writing, recording and mixing a selection of my tracks.
I use Ableton as my main production tool these days but many of the studio tricks and tips are transferable to any DAW. It's never been about what you use. It's always been about how you use it.
In this episode, I'm going to walk you through this cosmic slice of drone-rock-meets-electronic-wall-of-sound from my Elite Force alias. This track was released at the beginning of 2021 and in the video I'll walk you through the creative process and how I came to blend 85 audio parts into a euphoric, heads-down groove that gets me beaming each time I hear and play it! i think of this as an antidote to the pandemic ... and while it might not be able to cure Covid, I hope it puts a smile on your face and allows you to dance like no one's watching for a hot minute.
