Safe From Harm - Out Now

Today marks the release of Safe From Harm, the first single from More Calm Than Lunatic, a new archival project from Lunatic Calm.

Best known for their high-octane breakbeat anthems and cinematic intensity, Lunatic Calm always had another side running beneath the surface. Safe From Harm shines a light on that calmer thread - trip-hop, dub, and atmospheric grooves drawn from the vaults.

These recordings reveal a different energy than the tracks that put Lunatic Calm on the map. Instead of frenetic rhythms and blistering sound design, Safe From Harm builds its power from restraint, mood, and texture. It’s a glimpse into the duo’s more introspective experiments, crafted at the same time as their heavier material but rarely heard outside the studio.

This is the opening step in the run-up to More Calm Than Lunatic, which arrives on December 12. The full collection will bring together unreleased and reimagined tracks that explore the dubby, downtempo side of Lunatic Calm, showing a new perspective on a sound that shaped an era.
