My wife, film-maker Chele Gutek, and I collaborated on a video to showcase my new single, Oplot, and despite having driven to our chosen location with a car full of camera gear, we elected to shoot the entire piece on our iPhones which lends it a gritty and intimate feel.

The video was shot at Dengemarsh in the shadow of Dungeness Power Station in Kent, which is situated on Europe’s largest shingle-bank. It’s a bleak, forbidding place and felt like the perfect location to explore the melancholy, dreamlike feel of the track.
