Lunatic Calm Return to the Vaults
Lunatic Calm return to the archives this week with White Line Fever (Acid Frenzy Mix), another previously buried recording from the band’s late-’90s era and the latest track to emerge ahead of More Lunatic Than Calm Vol. 2.
Raw, acidic and characteristically unruly, the mix captures the heavier side of Lunatic Calm at full tilt, driven by distorted electronics, breakbeats and the kind of controlled chaos that ran through much of our work during that period.
It follows the recent release of Neon Ray (Jammin’ with the Man Mix), another track pulled from the vaults and finally given a proper release after more than two decades. Both tracks form part of More Lunatic Than Calm Vol. 2, the next instalment in our ongoing excavation of rare, unreleased and rediscovered Lunatic Calm material.
