SOUNDGARDEN SUMMER COLLECTION

As a big fan of Nick Warren’s lush, deep and uplifting DJ sets, I was thrilled to be approached for inclusion on his Soundgarden Summer Collection 2022.

The track in question is a remix I created earlier this year of my 2016 piece, Afterglow. Those of who who’ve seen me play (as Simon Shackleton) will no doubt have heard the original in my DJ sets, and I memorably closed out my last Distrikt Burning Man set with the original mix back in 2015.

The track is a gentle builder, featuring a slow-burning acidline that slowly gathers momentum, leading the listener to a blissed-out, ecstatic climax.
