The track’s strings are so utterly sumptuous and its wispy synth clouds so suspensory that they make you feel afloat in an infinite cosmos. Those main features of this dramatic ambient gem are joined by sparse but heavy heartbroken chords that linger like the pain of a lost one. Once the strings swell to almost tear-inducing levels, the pressure dissolves and washes away the sadness. It’s a beautiful process.”
